Foodkravo ("we", "us") is a global online marketplace that connects customers with independent food shops, restaurants, home kitchens and street-food vendors in their city — wherever you are in the world. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and how we comply with applicable data-protection laws in your country (including, where relevant, the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar regulations).

1. Information we collect

  • Account info: name, email, phone number, password (encrypted).
  • Order info: items ordered, delivery address, order notes, payment method.
  • Device info: browser type, IP address, approximate location for nearby shop discovery.
  • Shop owner info: shop name, logo, banner, menu items, bank/withdrawal details (where applicable).

2. How we use your data

  • To process and deliver your orders to the right shop and rider.
  • To provide customer support and resolve order issues.
  • To improve our service, recommend shops near you and prevent fraud.
  • To send order updates, promotional offers (you can opt out anytime).

3. Order & account privacy

Your order history and saved addresses are visible only to you. Shop owners only see the order details required to prepare and deliver your food (items, quantities, delivery address, contact number).

4. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and theme preference, and measure site performance. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.

5. Customer information safety

Passwords are hashed. All data is transferred over secure HTTPS. We use industry-standard access controls and Row Level Security on our database to make sure only authorised users can read your data.

6. Terms for shop owners

  • Shop owners must provide accurate menu, prices and availability.
  • Shops are responsible for the quality of food and their own riders/delivery.
  • Misleading listings, fake offers or spam may result in account suspension.

7. Platform usage rules

  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not allowed.
  • No abuse, harassment or fraudulent orders.
  • Coupon codes are for one-time use per customer unless stated otherwise.

8. International users & your rights

Foodkravo is available in multiple countries. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights.

9. Refund & support policy

If your order is wrong, missing items or never delivered, contact the shop first. If unresolved, raise a complaint via our Help Center within 24 hours of the order. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days, in the original currency and payment method where possible.
